"Year of the Priest"

Pope Benedict XVI has declared a Year for Priests beginning with the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 19, 2009. The year will conclude in Rome with an international gathering of priests with the Holy Father on June 19, 2010.

To begin this focus for the year, Saint Patrick Saint Michael will be exposing the Blessed Sacrament following morning Mass until 3:00pm on Friday June 19th.

To help assist us in praying for our priests our Bishops have provided us with a prayer for priests as well as a special Rosary devotion for priests. Please feel free to download and use these resources with your family.
