ST. PATRICK-ST. MICHAEL READS
THERE'S AN ADULT IN MY SOUP by Jason and Kim Kotecki is our lenten reading selection for this year, available from the Faith Formation Office at St. Patrick's at the discounted price of $12.  Opportunities to gather with fellow parishioners to discuss the book will be offered this week:  Wednesday evening, March 3 at 7:15 p.m. and Thursday morning, March 4 at 10:00 a.m., Friday morning, March 19 at 8:30 a.m. and again that evening, following Stations of the Cross, in the parish library (7:30 p.m. approx).
Faith sharing opportunities centered on our lenten parish reflection booklet, CALLED TO BE HOLY! will be offered Friday morning, at 8:30 a.m. March 12 and again that evening, following Stations of the Cross, in the parish library (7:30 p.m. approx).
Please note these dates and times are different than what was published in last week's bulletin.  We apologize for the confusion, some other parish obligations require a change in the original schedule.

PARISH ENVIRONMENT NOTES
*We are indebted to Ben Mendez for his able assistance along with Father Higuera, Cindy Fischer, and Janet Lonergan for enhancing the worship environment for Lent at St. Patrick's.
*Appreciation is extended as well to Vi Mabis, Polly Olsen and Margaret Karls for their tending to the Caring for our Church Environment tasks during January and February.   Volunteers to assist with these tasks are needed for the month of March.  Please consider teaming up as a family or as a small group of friends to complete these simple once-a-week tasks.  The sign-up form is located in the burgundy liturgical binder in the main entrance.
*We are in need of folks to assist with preparing the various liturgical environments during Holy Week.   If you are able to help, please speak with Father Higuera or Cindy Fischer.   The demands of the various liturgies require an enormous amount of effort that special week.  Many capable hands will certainly be of great help, including those of high school youth.   Finally, we invite those of you who garden, to consider bringing in some of the things you will eventually plant for our Easter garden.  We would need to have an idea of who is bringing what by Tuesday, March 30.
All of these living things (small nursery stock, vegetable, green and blooming plants would be blessed, enhance our worship space and then be returned to you for planting.

MASS SERVER TRAINING THIS SPRING
Grade four and older youth who would like to become Mass servers at St. Patrick's are invited  to an informational meeting Wednesday, April 14 at 5:00 p.m. in church.  A parent should accompany any interested youth.   Please mark your calendar.
